Each Spring/Summer the First Church men participate in a church softball league. It is a great time for the men of our church to come together for good fellowship and competition. If you are interested in participating, send us a message in the contact us portion of our site.

Each Friday morning at 6:30, a group of First Church men gather at Bazen's Restaurant on Irby Street for a time of prayer and fellowship. We pray through the requests of those present as well as the weekly prayer list of the church. It is always a great way to start your Friday mornings. If you are an early riser, a big eater, or a prayer warrior, come on out this Friday. We will save you a seat!

 

Every month, a group of men from First Church gather at a local golf course and enjoy a round of golf and fellowship with each other. Every now and then, we may drive down to Myrtle Beach and enjoy a round there. If you play golf, then you are invited to attend. First Church Ladies Meetings take place quarterly in our fellowship hall. Our church ladies and invited guests enjoy food, fun, and fellowship around God's Word. The theme of these meetings range from scrapbooking, to tea parties, to decorating the church for holidays. All ladies are welcome to attend!

 

The purpose of this church/outreach ministry is to offer additional opportunities of fellowship, friendship, recreation, ministry, and spiritual enrichment for all Seniors (55+) in our church and community.

 

This ministry is led by our Pastor and his wife. Those involved in this minsitry work together to love, serve, and encourage our senior adults through various activities planned specifically for them.

 

Our Golden Agers usualy meet the second Tuesday of the month to prepare for events around the church, travel to nearby places of interest, and fellowship together.
